General Terms and Conditions of Sale

The following General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all commercial transactions conducted by Matias – Indústria de Moldes e Plásticos, Lda. By confirming a quotation order, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

1. Product
   Description: Modular PP Mat – SimpleFloor (registered trademark and patented).
   Features: The product is designed to be practical and versatile in various environments. Composed of interconnecting modules, it allows for the creation of different layouts, ensuring quick assembly and disassembly.
2. Prices and Payment Terms
   All prices are quoted in euros (€) and are subject to VAT at the applicable legal rate.
   Quotations are valid for 1 month. After this period, the prices in effect on the date of invoicing will apply.
   Payment is due upon acceptance of the quotation or as agreed in the proposal.
   Prices may be changed without prior notice.
3. Order and Acceptance
   Order confirmation implies acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the product specifications. Shipment of the order will be made after payment and confirmation of receipt.
4. Delivery
   The standard delivery time is 1 to 3 working days for standard products. For non-standard products, the delivery time will be agreed upon between the parties.
5. Shipping
   Upon receipt of the goods, the Customer must check the condition of the packaging and immediately report any non-compliance (such as visible damage – dents, cuts, or other damage). This claim must be made in writing to facilitate the activation of transport insurance. The delivery time is for informational purposes only and is not binding; delays do not entitle the Customer to refuse goods or demand compensation.
6. Warranty
   The product comes with a warranty against manufacturing defects, in accordance with current legislation, provided that the conditions of use and safety are respected. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts, accidental damage, or negligent use.
7. Care and Safety Conditions
   The floor supports a weight of up to 7.1 tons per square meter but does not resist impacts or falls of heavy objects. Avoid directing heat sources at the product, as, even though it is self-extinguishing (UL94 - HB), it may increase combustion.
8. Return and Complaint Policy
   The Customer must report any claims regarding defects or non-compliance in writing, within 15 days of receiving the product.
9. Applicable Legislation
   Any disputes will be governed by Portuguese law, with the competent court being that of the headquarters of Matias – Indústria de Moldes e Plásticos, Lda.
10. Data Processing
    All personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679, as described on our website - Terms of Use and Privacy.
11. Changes and Revisions
    The company reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time and without prior notice.
